My ride didn't capture any land

A loop only counts when you come back near where you started. Three things have to be true:

• You returned within about 20 metres of a point you'd already passed (35 m if you stop the ride there).
• The enclosed area is at least 200 m² — roughly a lap of a small building.
• The shape is a lap rather than a scribble. GPS drift while standing still deliberately doesn't count.

An out-and-back on the same road encloses nothing, so it claims road but no land.

I rode somewhere with no signal

Nothing is lost. Every claim is written to your phone before it's sent, and syncs when you're back online. A badge on the ride screen shows how many are waiting. If it never clears, tell me what it says.

One thing that is the phone rather than the app: without a network connection, GPS can take a minute or more to get its first fix. Give it a moment before starting a ride somewhere remote.

My land disappeared

Someone rode through it. Territory is never shared — the last rider through a piece of ground owns it. You can take it straight back the same way, and you'll get a notification when it happens.

The leaderboard shows me at zero

The leaderboard ranks land you currently hold, not distance ridden. Claiming roads alone won't move it — you need to close a loop. If you have captured land and still see zero, email me.

Deleting your account

Profile → Delete account. It permanently removes your account, territory, roads and stats. This cannot be undone, and the ground you held becomes immediately available to other riders.
